A Bit More About Holiday Cabin

Welcome to your private mountain getaway, a peaceful family-friendly cabin surrounded by trees with incredible mountain and valley views. Perched on a bluff just past the river and rodeo grounds, this serene retreat sits on a quiet, dead-end private road, offering privacy, comfort, and easy access to nearby outdoor adventures.

You’ll love watching deer and elk stroll through the yard each morning and catching the sunset over the mountains from the porch or deck.

This 1,907-sq-ft cabin has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, ideal for families, groups, or couples’ getaways.

Highlights:

# Set on 5 private acres with access to 87 more for hiking, snowshoeing, and exploring

# Fast Starlink Wi-Fi — perfect for remote work or streaming

# Deck with outdoor seating and firepit for year-round enjoyment

# Close to Kirkham Hot Springs, South Fork Payette River, Boise Airport and National Forest; and Starlight Mountain Theatre

Living & Dining

#The spacious open concept living area has a large, comfy sectional, a 55” Smart TV, and extra chairs for relaxing movie nights.

#The dining area seats 8 comfortably, with a child’s seat available.

Fully Equipped Kitchen

# Cook and gather in a bright, modern kitchen with quartzite countertops, stainless appliances, and everything you need: pots, pans, knives, blender, toaster, rice cooker, and both Keurig and drip coffee makers.

# A second table for 4 is perfect for kids’ meals or a casual breakfast bar.

Bedrooms:

@Each bedroom is blackout curtains and cozy touches for restful nights.

# Master Bedroom – King bed, Smart TV, walk-in closet, private bath with dual sinks and full shower. Pack-and-play available.

# Bedroom 2 – Queen bed, a small bedroom, walk around bed but still tight. Simple and cozy.

# Bedroom 3 Doubles as a TV/game room, it has a pullout/sofa bed with a full mattress.

There is a bag next to the sofa with a full set of sheets, a comforter, and two pillows with fresh pillowcases on them

# Bedroom 4 – Is the quietest, it's a medium-sized room but we upgraded to a King bed (based on feedback), and because the room is narrow the right side of the bed is tight, with about a foot of room to walk around. If you are elderly or not very mobile this room is not for you.

Brush Creek. Just up the road from the rodeo grounds in Garden Valley. Half a mile to the sandy river beach for floating, rafting, kayaking, fishing and wading. We are just past the cute center town of Crouch, over the bridge and past the Rodeo Grounds.

We are on a private road, the cabin sits on 5 acres with lots of trees and great views, it also connects to another 87 acres of forest land that we have above the cabin. This upper property (called Upper Brush Creek) borders hundreds of miles of BLM and National Forest land, including the best access to the well-known Airline Trail. This trail is amazing and will take you all the way up to the lookout at Scott Mountain. The north border of the property is a 500-acre national elk reserve. There's no hunting, so animals are all around if you look for them. LOTS of trails for hiking galore. It really is amazing.

If you would like access to Upper Brush Creek, please text me at two zero eight, two eight three, seven two one six.

About a mile up the road you will find the Garden Valley Market (grocery store, pharmacy), coffee shop, wine shop, Two Rivers Grill (hamburgers, steaks, seafood, cocktails), and the famous old town saloon, The Dirty Shame (pizza, burgers, live music, dancing, patio). It is legal to drive your 4x4 around town. A few miles down the road you will find Terrace Lakes Golf Course, and the Starlight Theater for live plays. Check the rodeo schedule for dates, and float the lazy river from the church to the rodeo grounds. Visit the many native and man built hot springs around town and rent side by sides for more of an adventure. White water rafting is everywhere as is flyfishing. There is a large park with shelter, tables, basketball court, grassy area etc avail to use. We have seen weddings, birthdays and reunions take place there as well as concerts and craft venues. There is also a local library, gym and senior center.

✓Bedroom # 3 has a new, pull-out sofa bed, it's very comfy, and sleeps 2 kids or one adult

The kitchen is nice but not a chef's kitchen, not sure why the system is automatically naming it this.

Why we

LOVE STAYING HERE

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10 stars for this beautiful, cozy cabin! Paul was an excellent communicator and made sure we had everything we needed. His detailed notes made our stay incredibly easy and enjoyable. This was a very special trip for our family — a Christmas gift for my best friend’s kids, spouses, and grandchild after a very difficult couple of months of loss. This getaway was exactly what everyone needed. Hands down, this is the best set-up Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. It truly felt like home the moment we walked in. Plenty of space for family games, movies, and time together, and every amenity was thoughtfully provided. We loved the fireplace and cozy atmosphere (wish there had been more snow, but that’s out of anyone’s control!). Thank you for letting us build new memories here. We already plan to come back and stay at least twice a year. Highly recommend!

From the moment we arrived, our host, Paul, felt more like a friend than a stranger. Incredibly responsive, flexible, and genuinely helpful—going above and beyond in every way. Whether it was local recommendations or thoughtful connections throughout the stay, his kindness made us feel truly at home. A rare kind of hospitality that leaves you smiling long after checkout. Highly recommend!!!

If you’re looking for peace, serenity, and a view stay in Paul’s place. Four ladies went up to get away and just have a beautiful relaxing time to share stories, cook, drink and relax in front of the fire pit . This place was all that and more. About a half a mile from the little town of Crouch so easy access to a quick breakfast and coffee whenever you wanted. It’s a must again!!

Perfect quick getaway for me and my family. We have a newborn and a four year old so it was nice to be able to get away from the city without a super long drive. We greatly appreciated all the games they had. They also had bikes that we didn’t get a chance to using but it was an awesome amenity. Added bonus that the Rocky Canyon Hot Springs.

We want to express the fact that this was the absolute best Airbnb we’ve ever experienced. They don’t call Paul a super host for nothing. He was so helpful prior to and after our arrival, helping us whenever need be. Everything we could possibly need was on site already and the view was spectacular. Everything from the beds and lines, to bathroom/towels to kitchen/cookware and appliances were all there. A real treat was watching the elk that visited the meadow below each morning and on several afternoons. The patio/deck was ideal! Lots of seating. Something to be said about grilling outside and having beautiful bull elk bugling in the timber just below. I kept binoculars around my neck pretty much the entire stay. If there was anything I could suggest is that you may want to be sure to pack your hiking shoes. The opportunities this place has are numerous. So, thank you again Paul for sharing your incredible home and property with us. You definitely made our stay unforgettable!

This home is clean and cozy. I was surprised by how pretty the views from the living room are. You have an expansive view of the mountains around you and it is very peaceful and quiet. We have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and Paul is one of the best hosts we’ve ever had. He communicated clearly from the start to help us with directions, explain how to use the tvs and air conditioning, and to answer any questions that we had. He tried to anticipate our needs and was readily available by phone or text if anything came up. Our stay was peaceful, relaxing and comfortable. It was very clean and in a @nice location that felt secluded but was just a short drive from the little town area with a few restaurants and stores.

This was exactly what we needed! It is very peaceful and quiet. Paul is amazing and kind! He goes out of his way for you and wants you to really enjoy your stay. We were able to drive back to Stanley from here and do some hiking and then come back. The restaurants in town that we tried were very good.
