Who We Are

Your Hosts

We’re Paul and Bobbi.  We are both Idaho natives, and we spend as much time as we can on this 87-acre mountain in Garden Valley, Idaho.  The mountain is divided into two different properties, "Lower Brush Creek" is on 5 acres and includes a cozy cabin, barn, and private geodesic dome.  "Upper Brush Creek includes an entire mountain with a large geodesic dome on a granite rock cliff called St. Paul's Cathedral.   All of this borders a 500-acre elk reserve, and is incredibly private, peaceful, yet wild and full of beauty. We’re grateful to share it with our friends and family who appreciate nature, stillness, and a bit of adventure.

We were in town for my niece’s wedding, and we needed something close to the venue and free of drama. Paul’s “cabin” (a misnomer, because it is a well-appointed 3 bedroom 2 bath home) was the perfect respite in between the wedding festivities. The place is arguably the cleanest Airbnb we’ve ever rented—it was impeccably tidy and updated. We used the kitchen for breakfast and found all the stuff we needed to make eggs, toast and coffee with the provisions we bought at the local store down the street. Our two boys and us loved our mattresses and bedrooms: we slept in because it was so quiet out in the country. Even though it is outside of town, it was a 5 minute bike ride (there are four cruisers in the shed) down to the saloon, ice cream shop and restaurants. It was hot in Idaho, but the new AC units cranked cool air into all the rooms! The TVs all worked great for opening weekend of college football. Great views of the mountains and loved the quaint rodeo happening down the road!

We loved staying at Paul’s place. The location is great, just like 90 seconds from Crouch Main Street. We rafted, we hiked, we went to the Hot Springs. This Airbnb is convenient, clean, and has a cozy cabin feeling with modern amenities. We will be back.

The best Airbnb experience I’ve had yet! Paul was very helpful, proactive, and communicative. On our first night there was a random power outage, but Paul was quick to reach out and see if everything was alright and even brought us a generator and extension cords to help us out. The accommodations were accurately pictured and described. Everything was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for my family. We had plenty of living and dining space to accommodate four other friends we were vacationing with. We will definitely try to book with Paul again!
